I'm on my right and perfect path.

I’m guided by spirit.

I’m here for a purpose.

I know what I need to do.

Everything reveals itself at the right and perfect moment.

All is well.

I am lovable, and life is taking perfect care of me.

These beautiful words are from Alan Cohen, a teacher whose gentle, grounded wisdom has deeply influenced my spiritual practice. I return to his affirmations often—they feel both calming and empowering, especially when spoken aloud.

Affirmations have become an essential part of my morning routine. I’ve been working with them for many years now—probably over two decades. I think one of the first books that truly inspired me to start this journey was You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay. It opened my eyes to the idea that our thoughts create our reality, and that repeating simple, loving truths can shift how we feel, think, and live. That book planted a seed that has continued to grow through daily practice.

When I speak my affirmations aloud—often while tapping gently on my chest or using EFT techniques—I feel the shift immediately. It’s as if I’m tuning my energy, setting the frequency for how I want to live. The tapping, connected to meridian points, helps deepen the energetic impact and anchor the affirmation in my body.

Over time, my affirmations change. Sometimes they come from spiritual guides I admire, and other times they rise from deep within me—words gifted through quiet connection with Spirit. I’ll often repeat the same affirmation up to ten times to really root it into my being. “All of Life Flows Through Me with Ease, Joy and Grace,” for example, is one I return to again and again.

Recently, I recorded one of my affirmations layered over binaural sound, and I’ve added it to my YouTube channel. It’s a 7-minute track I listen to each morning, right as I’m waking up—when the veil is still thin and my subconscious is open. It’s a beautiful way to begin the day.

I also love sharing affirmations in my healing and coaching work. In my workshops and one-on-one sessions, I often write out personalised affirmations on small cards as gifts. It warms my heart to hear how some people carry them in their bags or keep them by their bedside.

In my upcoming five-week online container, The Sanctuary of Becoming, we’ll dedicate time and space to creating our own affirmations—affirmations that come directly from your lived experience, your intuition, and your desire to grow. This is a chance to deepen your relationship with yourself, your voice, and the energy you bring into the world. If this resonates, you can find out more and join here.

And I’d love to hear from you:
