Egypt: Answering the Call | A Spiritual Journey to the Pyramids

This trip happened very spontaneously.
It started with a simple coffee. I met a friend who casually mentioned he was going to Egypt and asked, almost in passing, “do you want to come?”
Something inside me immediately said yes.
It wasn’t a mental decision. It felt more like an inner knowing. A sense that it was time for me to be near the pyramids, to experience their energy for myself.
Looking back now, I realise the call had already begun before that moment.
In the months before this journey, I had been working a lot with the Blue Lotus flower, using beautiful products from my friend and sound healer Veronica. She is deeply connected with this sacred plant and the energy of Egypt, and works in devoted service to the Sacred Oils and the Blue Lotus.
Around the same time I also received a powerful shamanic transmission. From the heart came the words Dancing Fire Heart Phoenix, and within that vision the image of a sacred pyramids appeared.
So in a way, that coffee meeting was simply the final drop.
The moment where everything aligned and the answer became a clear yes.
You know those moments when you feel you are in rhythm with life, when things just fall into place. Booking the flight, hotel and friend waiting when I arrived, everything unfolding naturally.
And suddenly I was here.
Egypt is intense. There were moments when it felt overwhelming, especially in Cairo. The noise, the traffic, the chaos, the pollution. Driving through the city is something else entirely.
I thought Naples was chaotic… but Cairo definitely takes it to another level.

And then Cairo itself…
The vibrancy of the streets, the colours of the markets, the warm tones of the stones, the deep reds of karkade tea, and the golden sunsets by the Nile.
A city full of contrasts. Intense and alive. Where chaos and beauty seem to dance side by side.

And yet within that intensity there is also so much beauty.
Visiting the Grand Egyptian Museum, seeing so many artefacts, so much history, so much craftsmanship.

But the real highlight for me was something much simpler.
Waking up and seeing the pyramids in front of me.
Watching the sunset with the pyramids in the distance.
Just sitting there and feeling the energy of the place.

What surprised me the most was the deep sense of remembrance.
When I stood in front of the Sphinx, something inside me recognised this place. Not as a thought, but as a feeling in the body.
And suddenly the tears came.
Standing there, looking at the Sphinx, I felt such beauty. Majestic, powerful, sacred. Almost like meeting an ancient presence.
It felt like coming back home.

Climbing through the narrow passage into the King’s Chamber was another powerful moment. It was physically challenging, almost like a metaphor for life itself.
At the entrance, one of the guards said something that stayed with me.
He said, “Don’t focus on the difficulty. Think about where you are going.”
And somehow that felt like a teaching.
Just keep going.

But through all of this, what stays with me most is that feeling of remembrance. As if some places on this Earth awaken something ancient inside us.
And it makes me wonder.
How often in life do we hesitate when an opportunity appears?
And what might happen if, sometimes, we simply respond with a spontaneous yes to the invitations that life places in front of us? ✨

If this story resonates with you, I will be holding a special journey on 25 April, where we will also work with the sacred Blue Lotus through breathwork, sound and ceremony.
