I’ll be honest—I’m not usually the type to spend hours in the kitchen. But like many of us, I got swept into the energy ball trend thanks to TikTok. It looked so simple, and something about the no-fuss, mix-it-all-up vibe felt… doable. So I gave it a go. And wow—who knew I’d fall in love with making them?

I didn’t follow a recipe. I let my intuition lead the way (which meant a few trial-and-error rounds with dates and cacao powder proportions). After a month and a half of experimenting, I’m genuinely proud of what I’ve created. These chocolate energy balls aren’t just snacks—they’ve become part of my practice.

Now, I offer them at the end of my healing sessions—whether breathwork, cacao circles, or one-to-ones. They’re grounding, nourishing, and bring people gently back to the present moment. Even better? I’ve started getting orders! People are loving them, and honestly, I get why.

Not only are they delicious, but they’re also packed with goodness. Dates give natural sweetness and energy, cacao is rich in antioxidants and can lift your mood, and nut butters or ground oats add protein and healthy fats to keep you full longer. They’re perfect as a midday snack, a pre- or post-workout bite, or even a little treat with your morning tea. No refined sugar, no weird ingredients—just real, wholesome stuff made with love.

I still don’t have a set recipe (I will, I promise), but the base is usually dates, raw cacao, a pinch of salt, powdered nuts or oats, and sometimes little extra surprises, depending on what feels right that day. I’ve even played around with adding things like maca, chia seeds, or shredded coconut—whatever my body seems to be calling for.

Everything is handmade with love and intention, and I’m honestly having so much fun with it now. It’s meditative, in a way. A creative ritual I never expected to enjoy.

If you’re curious and want me to post the full recipe, drop a heart. If I get 20, I’ll share it here soon. In the meantime, check out this video—it’s a quick, fast-speed snippet of me making a batch (because let’s be honest, we’re all short on time!). You might just get inspired to try it yourself. And who knows? You might fall in love with making them—like I did.

If you’ve landed here because you’re exploring more nourishing, intuitive ways to care for yourself — body, mind, and soul — you may also love what I’m holding next.

The Sanctuary of Becoming is a 5-week online journey I’ve created to guide you back home to yourself through breath, movement, ritual, and creative healing. It’s a soft space to land, and a powerful space to rise.
